LD Support Worker | Autism | Part Time

Start Date: £8.50ph

Description

We are looking for a team of reliable, experienced and talented support workers to work alongside a lovely young male with Autism who requires support during the evenings and weekends

Our Client has Autism and needs support in between college and going home to his family, although he has autism he does enjoy being out in the community, support workers would be supporting the client in the community in these times.

Shifts:

  • Mon – Fri, 1500 – 19
  • Sat – Sun, 0900 – 1700

(You will be integrated into an established team, we can provide hours from 6-40+ hours per week, you will be required to work a minimum of two weekends a month)*

Training is provided for our Complex Care roles however we’re preferably seeking candidates with experience and/or training within Autism, De-escalation Techniques, Reflective Practices.

Tordan Healthcare Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience within the Health & Social Care sector
  • Full clean drivers license
  • Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 (or equivalent NVQ qualification)
  • Experience of providing  LD care and support (e.g. Autism, Learning Disabilities etc.)
  • Content on working alternate weekends
