How much does a Support Worker earn?
At Tordan, we offer above average pay rates, (minimum pay rate is £8.00ph). pay rates are recognised by job description and complexity of work and are designed to recognise the excellent performance of our team
How much experience do I need to be a Tordan Support Worker?
To register with Tordan as a support worker you will need a minimum of 12 months UK care experience
What training is available?
Opportunities exist to work towards an NVQ qualification and undertake in-house training programmes (including Complex care training) as well as mandatory update online training.
How soon can I start work?
Before Tordan can give you your first assignment, we will need to verify your references and your (DBS ) Disclosure and Barring and all your our training criteria must be met. Once your application is confirmed we will offer you a selection of care and support packages.
Will I have enough work?
Tordan have a wide variety of clients within local areas and our client base is forever growing. The more training, qualifications and experience you have, the more your skills will appeal to even more clients. Commitment, flexibility, safe, response caring is key to how many assignments are offered.
Where will I be working?
Tordan are a local agency we have clients throughout Manchester, Cheshire and surrounding areas. Generally, the further you’re prepared to travel, the more choice and quantity of assignment you will be offered.
How old do I need to be?
Tordan have a minimum age of 21 with relevant experience
Do I need a bank account?
Yes, you will need to have a UK bank account.
