Adult Tracheotomy Care Support Workers Required

We at Tordan Healthcare are looking for experienced, caring and responsive e Support Workers to deliver an outstanding valued based, person centred approach to an individual who has a tracheostomy. The Tracheostomy leaves the client short of breath and requiring oxygen continuously.

Our client still has the ability to access the Community and enjoys going to the local shops and cafes. Although needs support with their mobility they are fiercely independent and require companionship.

The client’s family are very involved so partnership working will be essential to the success of the care delivered to the client. You will also be offering some much needed respite to the family.

You will be required through the night to ensure personal care is of the highest standard and to ensure the client is comfortable and getting much needed rest. This will include manual handling so experience and training is required

Tordan Healthcare Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 months’ experience within the Health & Social Care sector
  • Experience in Tracheostomy Care an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Diploma for Health and Social Care Level 2 (or NVQ equivalent)
