Support Workers | Tracheostomy | Peg

Pay Rate: £8.50ph

Description

We are looking for a team of reliable, experienced and talented support workers to work alongside a young female adult who requires support revolving around Tracheostomy Care, Enteral Feeding (PEG) and Moving/Handling. Our client possesses a lovely bubbly personality and is looking for a team of workers to support her throughout the day. Client can express mild forms of challenging behaviour (verbally) and the key to succeed within this role is to manage such behaviour appropriately. Preferably applicants who have experience/training in the following Hoisting, Tracheostomy Care, Challenging Behaviour and Enteral Feeding (PEG), however training will be provided.

Shifts:
Mon – Sun, 09:00 – 18:00
(You will be integrated into an established team, we can provide hours from 6-40+ hours per week, you will be required to work a minimum of two weekends a month)*

Training is provided for our Complex Care roles however we’re preferably seeking candidates with experience and/or training within Tracheostomy Care, PEG Feeding, Spinal injuries, Acquired Brain Injuries etc.)

Tordan Healthcare Essential Requirements:
Minimum 1 years’ experience within the Health & Social Care sector
Full clean drivers license
Health and Social Care Diploma Level 2 (or equivalent NVQ Level 2)
Experience of providing complex care (e.g. Tracheostomy, PEG Feeding, Epilepsy etc.)
Content on working alternate weekends
